Welcome

"It is no coincidence that five presidents of the United States have been Dekes - more than any other fraternity - that our flag was flown on first expedition to the North Pole and again on a manned landing on the moon.  The individual qualities that DKE seeks have certainly withstood the test of time and served us all in good stead.  It is that unique blend of leadership, brotherhood and tradition that fuels this fraternity. "

-Brother and President of the United States, Gerald R. Ford, Omicron - University of Michigan  '35

The Omega Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon was chartered on December 6th, 1912, as the tenth fraternity at the University of Texas at Austin. It has over 100 years of tradition and history here as DKE and even longer before that as the Capital Club of Texas. DKE has fostered more great men and more great men per capita than any other men's social fraternity, including Presidents George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Gerald R. Ford, Theodore Roosevelt Jr., and Rutherford B. Hayes.
